My stomach turned and the heat rose to almost volcanic temperatures in a mini-second. I KNEW what this was. I wanted to be sick, vomit anger at my own stupidity. Oh. My. God. It’s a joke right? No, I know it’s not because now I get that intuitive feeling. This is no joke. I’d been conned. The project was a scam, a rug and I just gave them my money. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!

I felt so stupid, and not only that the person who texted me was my son. So, I’d let him down. Jeez Cath you let your Sons down, you let your Clients and students down and FFS… I teach about this; Tech, Neurobiology and fight/flight effects in “Cybertrauma” in the space of Cybersecurity for craps sake… and I knew what this was and I was angry. No wait one minute Cath your ashamed. You got caught out. Breathe. This will be okay…won’t it?
